The Clinical Engineering & CCE Review Class will provide an overview of the 2013 CCE examination topics which is based on the Clinical Engineering Body of Knowledge (BOK) survey conducted recently. This course is designed and presented by a group of experienced certified clinical engineers.
The course will provide an opportunity to review the main clinical engineering topics. It will cover current issues in clinical engineering that most CEs deal with on a regular basis.
It will include a mock written and oral exam. The course will help identify areas in which you need further review and help in preparing for the CCE examination. It will provide an opportunity to meet other candidates to form study groups.
"I wanted to thank the staff that prepared the Clinical Engineering and CCE Review Course and the entire excellent
faculty that participated on it. As a Clinical Engineer that worked most of his life out of this country I felt I needed some help
to get ready in certain areas for the CCE exam. The CCE Review Course met my expectations and gave me a lot of tools I used to get
an excellent score on the written test. During the course I became familiar with the type of questions I would get in the oral test
and this made me more comfortable with this demanding examination. During the course you will get a current outlook of where our
profession stands and you will be able to network with colleagues that are experts in many different areas. I strongly recommend
all clinical engineers to become certified and benefit from this great course to prepare yourself for the exam. Good Luck."
Ignacio Ortega-Alvarez, PE, MS, CBET

"Thank you very much for the great CCE Review Course which ACCE put together with a team of very professional
instructors. I truly believe that attending this course enriched my professionalism and expanded my horizon. It encouraged me to always
excel in the field of clinical engineering and to deliver the best service, safety and efficiency for the benefit of the patient. Once
again thank you to the team of instructors, your efforts are truly valued and appreciated."
Miguel Narvaez, Biomedical Engineering Manager
The Scarborough Hospital, Ontario, Canada
"I would definitely recommend the CCE Review course organized by American
College of Clinical Engineering (ACCE). As a long time clinical engineer who recently
got off the fence and made the commitment to become a Certified Clinical
Engineer, I used the CCE Review course as an opportunity to identify material that
I needed to review and to discuss the preparation process with the attendees. I've
had broad experience in many aspects of the field, but some of them were a few
years ago. The instructors did a fine job and provided in the course handouts a
large number of resources, references and study aids. The course helped provide a
structure and a study plan that had a definite impact on my confidence."
Thomas J. Bauld, III, PhD , Biomedical Engineer, Department of Veterans Affairs, National
Center for Patient Safety, Ann Arbor, MI.
"The CCE Review Course material was very informative and useful, the facilitators
and guest speakers were right to the point with important and practical guidelines.
The mock written and oral exams administrated at the end of the course helped
me the most since they enabled me to focus on the areas that I felt needed to be
Abdul Salam Jaber, BSEE, P.Eng., Supervisor of Biomedical Engineering,

The course materials include power point presentations, mock written exam questions, and sample questions for the oral exam and suggested references for further study.
